Blackhawk Shooting Sports

Events

Indoor Shooting is an experience in itself. But to keep it interesting, we try to mix things up by providing our shooters with a range of different events here at Blackhawk. We’ve held competitions, set up move and shoot courses, hosted parties, raised money for charities, and much more. Check out our online Events Calendar below to see what we’ve got in store for you in the near future. You can also read about what we offer for group outings and creating your own customized class!

    9/11 – 20th Anniversary – We Remember • Never Forget

    All day
    2021/09/11

Twenty years ago on Sep llth, The United States was suddenly and deliberately attacked by a
coordinated group of terrorists. America became united in its determination to wipe out
International state sponsored terrorism and vowed to never forget 9/11.

Twenty years later we seem to have begun to forget, and our unwavering resolve to pursue the
war on terror, no matter how long it took, seems to have eroded.
At Blackhawk, we are still committed to remembering those who were lost that day and during
the subsequent 20 years of combat.

As a token of our appreciation, we are opening up the
range to any Veteran who served any where, in any branch, from 9/11/2001 through 9/11/2021.
We offer free Range time and a cup of coffee.

1/2 hour free range time, Anyone is welcome to shoot, Veterans are free. Please make a
reservation. Online or via phone 920-564-37887

    Intermediate Pistol

    2021/09/28

    Cost: $60
Intermediate Pistol starts where Intro to Pistol ends. We recommend you’ve taken a basic handgun course, even if it wasn’t here at Blackhawk Shooting Sports, before you take this one. Our intermediate Pistol class is built around the skills tested in the 4 part Federal Qualification Drill: Accuracy, One-Handed Shooting (both dominant and support hand) and Magazine Changes. The course will go over the basics of grip, stance, sight picture, and trigger position, and then demonstrate how to practice them effectively in order to tighten up your shot groupings. Practice with purpose, both at home and at the range, is the key to elevating your skills to the level you want them to be. At the end of the class every student will participate in the Federal Qualification drill. Scoring 45 or higher on this test will be a prerequisite for Advanced Pistol.

Required Materials: a handgun, case, snapcaps, & 100-150 rounds of ammo

    Instructor: Shane Anderson
