Stand at the firing line, hold the pistol in one hand, and slow fire at 25 yards. For the novice handgunner, bullseye is an excellent way to learn basic skills a step at a time: firearm safety, muzzle control, and finger off the trigger unless sights are on target. With bullseye shooting there’s no drawing from a holster, speedloading, or shooting while moving. Bullseye excels in teaching the most important skill of all: releasing the trigger without imparting movement to the gun. Instructed by Max Umbs.
10-12 weeks. Starts September 8th.

Business Park Dr., Oostburg, WI 53070 ![]() This is a high-level overview of everything you need to know to start shooting your handgun and to be a responsible handgun owner. This course is also a great refresher for anyone who hasn’t fired a handgun in a few years to experienced shooters. This 2-hour class is broken down into a 1-hour in-classroom safety and instruction and a 1-hour “on-the-range” drills and skill builder to practice and reinforce the material from the classroom portion. The course includes but is not limited to, firearm safety practices, covering the basics of shooting, muzzle discipline, trigger control, and the importance of stance and grip. Required Gear: Pistol or Revolver, 50-100 rounds of ammunition.

The class follows the Department of Justice curriculum. A pamphlet will be given for you to take notes. Please bring a pistol if you have one, but no ammunition. There will be no range time involved. A certificate will be given to each to send to the State to apply for your license.

Business Park Dr., Oostburg, WI 53070 ![]() We’ll have PIZZA in the classroom ($5), plus you can work on earning your next bead or grab your own target for fun range time. Please come at 4:30pm only if you are working on Precision Level (gold) PMP challenges. These must be completed using a shot timer, meaning only one shooter at a time. If you’re new to AGAG, the A Girl & A Gun Pistol Marksmanship Program (PMP) is a self-paced, guided shooting activity that helps you develop your pistol fundamentals and earn beads for your bracelet along the way!! You start with a stylish leather bracelet and then earn up to 20 beads as you progress through the Pistol Marksmanship Program. Note: If you are not a member or do not wish to work on the AG & AG Pistol Marksmanship Program, NO WORRIES! You can still join us that evening and just do a fun shoot with your own choice of target.
